Real Feedback, Real Impact

Feedback from #EENA2026
"EENA 112 represents the very best of the public safety ecosystem - a community of incredibly mission driven people from both the public and private sector, working collaboratively to drive innovation, share best practice in public safety operations and make the world a safer, more secure place. I'm already looking forward to EENA 2027."
“A heartfelt thank you! As a new joiner, I was truly impressed, enriched, and moved. Impressed by the professionalism and by the level at which this event was organised and delivered. Enriched by the range of topics, presenters, voices, and approaches brought together throughout the conference. And moved by the spirit of the event, which felt strong, palpable, and genuinely shared. It made this a very special experience for me, and a very European one. Finally, I applaud the decision to give the closing session to Ukraine. To me, that was a clear stance and a sign of integrity, which was instantly mirrored in the standing ovations. Especially here in Riga, in this setting, it felt like a strong and meaningful signal and a very fitting end to the conference. ''
“The past week brought so many impressions that I needed time to let them settle.
I am incredibly grateful to have attended the EENA Conference for the second year in a row.
The insights into where the world of dispatch is heading were eye-opening. Being able to reconnect with so many dedicated, inspiring people who pour their lives into this work made it truly special. Thank you to everyone of you, who came by to say hello again and to the new people that so kindly shared their story with me.
Events like this remind me why this field matters and give me the bearings to direct my focus. It motivates me to work harder, to help where I can, and to keep working toward hopefully making my own meaningful contribution to this community — one that is quietly making the world a safer place.
Thank you EENA 112 and until next year! ''
Thank you EENA 112 for another great conference.
I’m both humbled and proud to work in an industry where the goal is saving lives. From paramedics to police, to public authorities and providers of emergency communications, we come together to make an impact. We discuss accessibility, resilience, regulations, and the future of 112.
I’m especially touched that this community doesn’t look away and is willing to call conflicts by their names.
A big thank you to the entire team and everyone involved in making this event happen. We are looking forward to Malmö.”
“The conference was brilliant, as always.”
“It was great to be there!! And Malmo is already in the diary with some thoughts on presentations”
“Thank you for the great conference and events. Was a pleasure to join. For Malmö, we already booked the Hotel and are ready for the sponsorship.”
“We had a useful trip and once more thank you for bringing all actors together at this event. We are looking forward to have some follow ups from the contacts we made.”
“The event last week was very productive for my company as far as opportunity leads is concerned. We walked away with a couple of high profile opportunities.''
“Thank you for the organization and for all your inputs during the conference ! Looking forward to meet you again next year in Malmö !''
“It was lovely to see you, and I had such a wonderful time at the conference. I dare say that this has been my favorite one thus far, since I began attending in 2015. I did unfortunately miss a few conferences since 2015, but, this one was just amazing. Everyone at EENA, and the conference center staff, to the A/V and IT staff, were simply amazing to work with. We also had excellent traffic at our booth, and the sessions and tracks were very well curated. I can’t wait for next year in Malmö!''
The EENA 2026 conference in Riga, Latvia wrapped up on Friday, and I’m still struggling to sum up what attending means to me.
EENA 112 sits right at the crossroads of public safety: bringing together public authorities and suppliers, all focused on improving how we handle emergency calls.
With over 700 attendees, the room held experience ranging from brand‑new Emergency Call Takers to Chief Executives who’ve spent decades in the industry.
Everyone working towards the same goal: better PSAP practice and technology to help save lives.
From reconnecting with old friends to making new ones, my time in Riga was a huge success. I’m leaving with lessons that will shape my work in London in the months ahead, which I’ll share with some follow up posts.
See you all in Malmö, 2027!''
“It was a pleasure to attend the event. Although we still need more time to get known in Europe, we had a few good talks at our booth and we were able to schedule a presentation with a potential client. As far as I can say by now, we are planning to come to Malmö.''
“I thoroughly enjoyed the EENA conference. There were some very exciting presentations and I met some extremely interesting people. And of course I was absolutely delighted to see you and the whole gang again. It really always feels like a family reunion... perhaps that’s because I’ve known you all for almost 10 years now. I’m already looking forward to Malmö.''
“We are actually still recovering from the very successful event last week. We would like to sincerely thank you, Katrina, and Benoit for the excellent organization of this year’s event. From our perspective, everything worked very well – we had great visits at our booth and many high-quality conversations with both potential and existing customers.''
“I always enjoy attending EENA. Keeping current on common 9-1-1/1-1-2 issues is important. Of course, seeing friends, such as yourself, make the event even better. I do hope to attend next year in Malmo.''
“It was truly a pleasure meeting you, and I really enjoyed attending the event. It was very well organized and full of valuable insights and inspiring discussions. I appreciate your efforts and the great experience you and your team provided. I would be very happy to join again next year in Malmö.''
“All praise for a well-organized and very interesting conference. My colleagues and I got quite a few ideas that will help us in the renovation of our systems in the coming months. One of the introductory lectures on the reliability of new technologies was especially instructive. See you in Malmö.''
“Great to look back on an inspiring and well-organised EENA 2026 Conference in Riga.
Thank you to the entire EENA team for bringing together such a strong community of professionals dedicated to improving public safety across Europe and beyond. The exchange of knowledge, innovation, and real-world experiences once again proved how valuable this network is.
Proud to have been part of it — Let's take this energy forward and turn the insights into concrete progress in our own organisations and collaborations.''

''I personally found the event very well run and informative.''
''I´d like to thank the whole EENA team! As always, a really superb and well performed event with many valuable insights and connections made! Looking forward to Malmö next year.''
''I didn’t get the chance to thank you at the end but – as ever, thanks to you and the team for a great conference. The content is always interesting, enjoyable and stimulating and the event as a whole is well organised and the social activities are a pleasure to take part in. EENA always feels very much like a community and less transactional/lacking in personality compared to most conferences. They all serve their purpose but the sense of collaboration and willingness to showcase excellence and knowledge share at EENA, makes it a pleasure to attend and time well spent.''
''A high level organization! This conference is truly the place to be for networking with colleagues and staying up to date on the latest developments and challenges for PSAPs as well as for the ecosystem!''
''Impeccably seemless and efficient organisation during the event, lovely venue, a multitude of interesting topics (I would have liked to clone myself to be able to attend simoultaneous sessions), good balance of session & break time, the Riga Tour was a highlight.''
''It was really nice to see you all after some years. It was an exceptional event, and give my congratulations to all for it. Hope I can make it in Malmo next year, and maybe take someone else with me to prepare him/her to give continuation to my work on the 112.''
''The EENA Conference 2026 was exceptionally well organized. The combination of high-quality speakers, relevant topics, and excellent networking opportunities created a very valuable experience. In addition, the choice of venue was outstanding, and the communication leading up to and during the event was consistently clear and efficient.''
''It was a great EENA and I thank you once again for that, for the energies and accurate professionalism you and EENA team placed into. We enjoyed the whole business days and likewise the free and social time, that makes our people feel so connected and being part of a special solid working group devoted to a mission since decades''
“Thank you for your email and for all the attention brought to us by EENA team over the 3 days, including the meeting room (and the social event 😉 ). It will certainly remain a very good “vintage” for our company in terms of contacts, and we are already looking forward to the next conference in Malmö.''

Feedback from #EENA2025
“I confirm that it was a truly amazing EENA Conference, full of quality networking and numerous delegations. Already in Valencia I had noticed a positive trend, compared to the first post-Covid editions, but in Helsinki I think expectations were exceeded. And I also speak consciously after having chatted with other exhibitors or partners there. I sincerely hope that this trend can continue, both for you who devote endless energy and for us who try to give visibility of our work and domain expertise. Let’s aim for another excellent EENA Conference next year (or events this year).''
“The conference was very useful and informative (as usual) and I hope to attend again next year. You and your colleagues at EENA should be very proud of your achievement.”
“I had many conversations that led to further contacts after the conference. I also gained some new ideas from the sessions. All of this demonstrated once again how important these events are. Thank you and the whole EENA team for the great event. I'm already looking forward to Riga next year.”

As for the exhibition, we had the opportunity to meet many people and make some excellent contacts, and we’re already looking forward to next year’s event!”
“Overall, I truly appreciated the opportunity to take part in the EENA Conference. It was a fantastic occasion to get a closer look at the incredible work EENA is doing and to better understand the broader ecosystem of emergency communications in Europe. "
“I found the conference very interesting! Both the presentations, which have shown me insights in topics I did not yet master and insights in implementations by other countries, as well as all the social evenings. To me, the conference was a great mix and an excellent opportunity for networking. Thanks in no small part to the excellent vibes of you and other EENA-organizers 😊 ''
“I liked being able to see more of the conference than in previous years, even though it felt very strange not to have a stand or colleagues this time. And yes, Helsinki seemed like a very interesting city to me, and its people – top-notch.”
''It was a pleasure to take part in the conference this year and to see the whole EENA team again. As always, you all organized an event worthy of your reputation for excellence. I’m glad that my presentation contributed to the goals of the conference. I hope to be able to attend again next year.''
"The opportunity offered by EENA to be part of this great event and to present our work and experiences is very valuable and very important for us. Also, all the activities during the event were very interesting and well organized and gave us the opportunity to learn a lot and have a great time, and this was possible thanks to EENA's efforts and involvement.”
“The event went very well for us – we had some excellent conversations and had the opportunity to listen to a significant number of sessions. I thought that the event went very smoothly and I hope that it was good for you and EENA, I’m very glad we were able to make it.”
''The conference, as always, was fantastic. This year, we continued to strengthen our relationships with certain suppliers, discovered new products, and made new connections. You know well that we never miss an opportunity to meet new people and explore different ways of working, to equip ourselves and move in the right direction.''
''It was a pleasure to see you there and to catch up on where everyone stands. I also feel that there is beginning to be a real awareness of what AI can (or cannot) actually do today in this context. It’s very interesting. Thank you for organizing such events!''
“It was very interesting for us too, we saw lots of people and we’re in the process of planning many follow-up calls!”
“Just wanted to say a BIG congrats for an excellent EENA-conference – as always! I really enjoyed it; very organized and well planned. ''
“It was truly a great experience to be part of the event in Helsinki. We really had the opportunity to connect with many interesting professionals.”
“We enjoyed the conference. We made many good contacts, spotted interesting companies, good presentations especially to topics like RTT, NG112, localization of emergency calls and all the AI topics. Also the insight on the Finnish emergency call setup was very helpful. Thanks to meeting some of our contacts here, I was able to upgrade the presentation for the following week when they visited us.''
"I had such a great time at the conference, many interesting sessions and new connections, also the organization of the event was just perfect! It's been a pleasure and an honour to be among the speakers, I do really hope my presentation was interesting for the audience, I really enjoyed my time indeed. Time to start to think about some innovation to present @ EENA Conference 2026!! Thank you and thank all EENA's staff, you guys rock.”
“As always, the conference has been giving and it was a pleasure to meet everybody from our network. I got the sense that companies from Denmark were very positive about the event, at least the few I’ve talk to, we felt that there was more time for demonstrations and discussion than before.''
“I really appreciate that you guys really manage to get the international exchange/participation going – beyond Europe/US!”
"Regarding EENA Helsinki was it really good and interesting for me, including the networking that I had the chance to do. I want to thank you, all, for the nice ceremony that you had put together. It was a great surprise and it means a lot for all of us. .”
"We were very excited to be able to participate, the conference is extremely relevant for the emergency response in our country, so I expect that there will be more of us at the conference in Riga in April 2026”
''There are not enough words to express the gratitude I feel for having had the opportunity to attend this year’s EENA 112 Conference and meeting such incredible individuals who work tirelessly to make the world a safer place. Every single moment was an absolute pleasure — and to top it all off, we even won the quiz with a fantastic team!
A big thank you as well to our Finnish hosts and to everyone who contributed to making the event so special.''
“Thanks all for an excellent, insightful and enjoyable event. The private conversations were productive and the conference content was engaging and relevant. I also thought Helsinki was a great venue. It seemed there was a particularly good distribution of attendees this year – whether or not there was better distribution of representatives from different countries vs previous year, I’m not sure, but it felt healthy. Representation from the Middle East and more of a bridge to the US on this occasion, which I think is healthy, given the size of the market and the amount of innovation. The EENA team are always so welcoming and we’re always grateful for that. I hope it was a success for you all and I look forward to the conference next year, as well as being in touch in the meantime.”
The EENA2025 conference remains an unparalleled source of knowledge, inspiration, and valuable connections. It’s impressive to see how experts from around the world confront the challenges of crises and develop solutions together.
One particularly moving story was ForSama, told by Dr. Zahed Katurji (Hamza Alkateab) and Waad Alkateab. Their dedication to helping others during the siege of Aleppo – despite the danger to their own lives and those of their children – deeply moved me. To stand up to the overwhelming inhumanity and fight for their values, rights, and lives is truly extraordinary.
Their courage forces me to reflect on our own “life of prosperity.” Would we be able to summon the same strength if we had the option to simply walk away? From a safe distance, it’s easy to look away – after all, it only affects “the others.” We can just change the TV channel and turn away.
But the reality remains: inhumanity doesn’t disappear. It moves on – from one place to the next – until one day it stands at our own doorstep.
Let’s not look away. Let’s act.
